Biography
Ben McCoy is a portrait photographer based in Perth, Western Australia, with twenty years behind the lens. A decade of that was spent as a full-time wedding photographer, thousands of hours reading people, finding light, and making something real under pressure. Now he devotes all of his time to studio portrait work, and it shows.
His studio in Bayswater is where everyday mums and dads, expectant couples, newborns, boudoir clients, and high-end models all walk through the same door. From intimate maternity sessions to commercial campaigns, Ben’s range is built on one thing: the ability to connect people back to themselves.
His portrait work covers maternity, newborn, boudoir, and personal commissions. The subjects are different. The approach never changes. He creates the conditions for something real, then finds the frame.
