Film & Darkroom
Move from taking the film from your camera, through the development stage of the negatives and on to the final stage in the darkroom
The title “Darkroom “ is a bit constricting. I will be talking about how to get to the dark room as well as setting up a home darkroom.
The journey from: choosing a film, getting the film out of the camera, processing and eventually into the darkroom to print.
I’ll go through the film types, ISO, and the “feel” of the film. How to choose the film (for this talk I will limit everything to black and white option- touching briefly on colour).
How to load and develop the film and the effects developer and developing has on the film. Then onto printing the film – a short chat about what gear you will need for a home darkroom
